Privacy Policy

Kuzuwa & Partners, P.C. and Kuzuwa Law Office (hereinafter referred to as “Our Firms”) have established the following protection guidelines regarding the handling of personal information, and will realize the appropriate handling of personal information.

Our Firms will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter referred to as the “Personal Information Protection Law”) and other related laws and regulations regarding the handling of personal information.

Our Firms may collect personal information (name, address, gender, date of birth, name of company or organization to which you belong, title, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.) to the extent necessary. In this case, Our Firms will collect personal information appropriately without deception or other wrongful means.

Our Firms will use the collected personal information only to the extent necessary for the following purposes or for the purposes to be individually notified, and will not use it for any other purposes.

4. Joint Use of Personal Information

Our Firms may jointly use the personal information collected by each of them.

5. Safe Management of Personal Information

Our firm will appropriately manage personal information through the management system within the office and the education of employees, and take preventive measures against leakage, loss, damage, etc. of personal information.

6. Consignment of Personal Information

When entrusting all or part of the handling of personal information to a third party, Our Firms will conduct a strict investigation of the third party and conduct necessary and appropriate supervision of the third party to ensure the safe management of the entrusted personal information.

7. Sharing of Personal Information to Third Parties

Our Firms will not provide personal information to third parties without the prior consent of the individual, except as provided by laws and regulations such as the Personal Information Protection Law.

8. Disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc. of personal information

In the event that Our Firms receive a request from an individual for disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, erasure, suspension of provision to a third party, or notification of the purpose of use (hereinafter referred to as “disclosure, etc.”) of personal information in our possession pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Law, Our Firms will respond appropriately in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law after confirming that the person making the request is the person himself/herself. 
In addition, Our Firms may not be able to respond to your request if it does not meet the requirements stipulated in the Personal Information Protection Law, or if there are grounds for refusing disclosure, etc. under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations.

9. Inquiries regarding the handling of personal information

Our Firms accept questions regarding the handling of personal information and disclosure, etc. of personal information via the inquiry form.

10. Changes to this Policy

Our Firms may change the contents of this policy as necessary.

The revised Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this site, unless otherwise specified by Our Firms.
